Update: October 2021 A retelling of the 12 year conflict

Ah, the history of this long war, starting back in 2009, granted this is a merging of all "Official" histories of this long conflict, the Karankawa Government facing an oil and other natural resources embargo by the Allied Nations due to KFORCE operations to expand it's trade with neutral countries, as well as it's own dwindling domestic reserves, the Karankawa government decided to execute a plan developed by the military branch led by it's Military High Command to bomb and invade the Allied naval base and Oil storage in the Oso Basin, thereby bringing on the first Allied/Karankawa War.

The invasion was stopped on the Oso Basin beaches in 2009, and a UN truce was declared. But it wasn't to last.

In 2010, the Allies seeing a Karankawa threat to their southeastern flank in the AO Islander Region, conducted a limited military invasion to seize AO ISLANDER to prevent KFORCES from emplacing medium range bombers and missiles. KFORCEs seeing this act of aggression, moved troops into the AO ISLANDER region, the resulting clash ended in a victory for the Allies but at a high cost. Once again a UN truce was agreed to and the area was demilitarized. A second operation in the AO ISLANDER area, Trenchknife was executed, but the results were the same.

2011, saw tension raise as political struggles in Karankawa caused Allied Forces to attempt to support a possible coup, this was incorrect, as KFORCE defense forces rallied against the invaders and stopped them cold on one of the Victoria Islands. The stopped Allied Invasion was a tragic military failure at the strategic level even though there were several on the ground successes. 2012, the Allied setback in 2011 set the stage for a massive KFORCE invasion of the Allies' East Coast, KFORCEs landed troops by sea and air on the Allied mainland, and even though seizing a barrier island and making some gains on the mainland, the Allies held out. The toehold on the mainland was held by the KFORCEs setting the stage for a counteroffensive by the Allies in 2013.

2013, the Allies, motivated to take part of the homeland back, struck back with a vengeance , narrowly defeating the occupying KFORCEs. A UN ceasefire halted the conflict.

During the Ceasefire and on the other side of the globe, the Eastern Empire used the distraction of the Allied/KFORCE conflict, to build combat power and conduct military offensives to expand their Imperial territory. A Western Coalition was formed to defend against Empire. Operations like Riptide, Storm East, Dragon Rogue, and culminating in Stonebreaker 2015. The Western Coalition had no forces or resources to spare to support the Allies, and the Empire was too focused on pushing its own strategy to assist KFORCEs.

In 2014, a year had past, the embargo and defeat had KForces on the strategic defensive, their large chain of home Islands became their focus. KFORCEs looked to developing unconventional weapons (or so it was to be believed by the Allies), and the Allies conducted an air and sea invasion of the Karankawa home island, striking hard at seizing the Capital City of Home Tree. The invasion was stopped at the gates of the Capital City. A UN imposed ceasefire and treaty agreed to by both sides concerning the non employment of unconventional weapons was signed, limited lifting of sanctions by the Allies, and the withdrawal of Allies from the home island and KFORCE withdrawal from selected regions was agreed to. Both sides took a pause, hoping that this conflict would finally end.

But world events in the coming year would dictate otherwise. The Western Coalition and Eastern Empire continued to take hammer blows at each other at successive ops like Dragon Rogue, Broken Dagger, Serious Viking, and Stonebreaker 2016.

2015, in the region of Calichestan, in the unaligned territories, vast amounts of natural ores, oil, and a strategic position near the Allies shipping lanes was realized. With the Western Coalition battling the Eastern Empire in the Eastern hemisphere, Karankawan Government and Businesses looked to invest heavily into the Calichestan Region, when the Government of Calichestan collasped in late 2015, both Allied and Karankawa Governments sent in troops to prevent one side from gaining a strategic advantage.

After initial tactical success by KFORCEs, they were out fought by Allied troops who proved to have more endurance on the second day of the battle. In 2016, KFORCEs managed to defeat the Allies in Calichestan, finally achieving a decisive win but only stalemating the conflict between the Allies and KFORCEs.

On the otherside of the world, East and West continued their war, successive Dragon Rogues, and Broken Dagger II in 2017, saw a seesaw of give and take between the two sides. The UN's worst fear was realized when all warring factions reached out to their like minded forces on the other side of the globe.

This now became a global war. Beginning with Serious Viking 2, the Western Coalition would receive troop support from the Allies in the form of Task Force Darby (an Airborne/Air Assault unit) and the Special Operations Forces. The Eastern Empire gladly received reinforcements from the Karankawan Government with the KFORCE Airborne Regiment, Royal Rifle Regiment and Commando Group. New Areas of Operations were fought over in 2017 to 2021, with the revival of an old Operation, TRENCHKNIFE in 2017, Iron Fury, Iron Dagger, SERIOUS VIKING 3, Bone Strike, and MOUNTAIN VIPER. The conflict has widen, and both sides will have to push themselves in order to gain an advantage.
